You can now easily add Magma’s assigments to My Book. This means you can edit the assignments, mix them with your own, and create tasks that are saved without needing to be linked to a class straight away.

From the Practise tab, you can now open a recommended practice card you’ve assigned and remove it for pupils who haven’t attempted it yet. Perfect if a recommendation was sent by mistake or doesn’t quite fit the assigments or skill level.

At the end of each school year, your class’s assignments are saved in a book named after that school year. You’ll find these books in My Book, where the assignments are grouped by class and can be reassigned or edited. If you don’t want to see a book, you can simply hide it from your bookshelf.

Pupils now get a button that lets them edit their working when they return to a task they’ve already solved correctly. The button doesn’t appear immediately after they get the correct answer, only when they navigate back to the task. They cannot change the final answer itself.

When a teacher chooses a translation language for a pupils and ticks the checkbox, that pupils will only have tasks translated into that language and cannot change it themselves.

Tasks assigned by the trust are now easier to locate. A clear notice always shows how many are waiting under Unpublished. They are also grouped at the top so you never miss them.
