How do I change DNS settings?

Change DNS settings

Updated over a week ago

Maildoso manages all DNS records directly, so you do not need to make changes on your own.

As we operate as our own ESP and use our own SMTP infrastructure, all MX records remain under our control and cannot be edited externally.

We also do not allow the addition of CNAME records or any other third-party DNS records, as these may introduce external dependencies that can negatively affect our infrastructure. For example, open-rate tracking links from third-party tools have previously been blacklisted, which could also put our domains and infrastructure at risk.

Although a third-party link may not currently appear on a blacklist, there is no long-term guarantee. Because of this, we do not take the risk of compromising our domains or infrastructure.

As a result:

We cannot guarantee deliverability if third-party DNS modifications are introduced

We cannot offer blacklist-related compensation in such cases

We already provide built-in Global Custom Domain Tracking, which is enabled by default on your account.

Please also note that open-rate tracking is generally not recommended from a deliverability standpoint.

Thank you for your understanding.
