Maildoso does not have a built-in email viewer in the dashboard. To actually read the replies coming into your mailboxes, you connect your Master Inbox (or an individual mailbox) to a regular email app using IMAP — this guide explains how, plus what to check if the connection isn't working.
There is no inbox view inside the Maildoso dashboard
The Master Inbox page in your dashboard shows your Master Inbox address, its attached mailboxes, and connection settings (IMAP host, port, SMTP) — it does not display the actual emails. Clicking into it will not open a list of messages.
To read what's arriving in your Master Inbox, you need to connect it to an email client (see below) using those same IMAP/SMTP details.
Connecting your Master Inbox (or any mailbox) to an email app
Any IMAP-capable email app works — BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or a mobile mail app. We recommend BlueMail for the Master Inbox specifically.
BlueMail setup: Add account → Manual setup (not the quick-setup box) → select IMAP → enter the mailbox email + password.
Incoming (IMAP): the host shown on your dashboard/welcome email for that mailbox, port 993, encryption SSL/TLS. (IMAP hosts are specific to each mailbox — don't reuse one mailbox's IMAP host for another.)
Outgoing (SMTP):
smtp.maildoso.com, port 587, encryption STARTTLS — this is the same for every mailbox on every account. If you're not sure which IMAP host to use for a specific mailbox, contact us and we'll confirm it.
Hiding warm-up emails from your Master Inbox
On the Master Inbox page in your dashboard, enable the warm-up filter tag so warm-up traffic is hidden from view and you only see real replies once connected in your email app.
This only works for
@maildoso.emailMaster Inbox addresses, not custom-domain ones.
If you can't connect in your email app
Double-check for stray leading/trailing spaces in the email, password, host, or port fields — a common cause of failed connections.
Re-export the mailbox's credentials from the dashboard (Email Accounts → select → Export selected to CSV) rather than relying on details saved or copied earlier — they may be stale.
Confirm you're using IMAP (not POP) and the exact host/port/encryption combination above.
Still stuck? Contact us and we'll review your specific case.
Note: this page does not cover Google Workspace mailboxes — those don't use the Maildoso Master Inbox at all. See "Forwarding Addresses / Master Inbox" for how Google Workspace replies are handled instead.
