How do I attach an email to a work order?
You can convert an incoming email directly into a work order without manually re-entering the request.
Open the relevant email.
Click Assign Email.
From the dropdown that appears, select Create Work Order or Assign Work Order to assign the email to an existing Work Order.
The email is automatically attached to the work order and the work order.
What happens to the email once it's attached?
The original email is saved to the work order and accessible from the Email tab. This tab also keeps a record of all subsequent correspondence linked to the work order, so replies sent after creation appear alongside the original email.
