How do I start filling a procedure?

Navigation: Open your Field Service workspace, then select Work Orders from the sidebar.

  1. Open the work order containing the procedure.

  2. Scroll to the Procedures section.

  3. Click on the procedure name, or click the three dots and select Open.

The procedure will open with a status of Not Started.

Can I fill a procedure without attaching it to a work order?

Yes. You can fill a procedure independently and attach it to a work order later.

From the list view:

  1. Go to Procedures in your Field Service workspace.

  2. Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to the procedure template.

  3. Select Fill Procedure.

From the procedure template:

  1. Open the procedure template.

  2. Click the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner.

  3. Select Fill Procedure.

This creates an instance of the procedure template that you can complete. Filled procedures appear in the Filled Procedures tab on the Procedures page and can be attached to a work order later.

How do I fill out a procedure?

  1. Complete the required and optional fields in the procedure.

  2. Click Save as Draft at any time to save your progress.

  3. The procedure status will update to Draft.

  4. You can return later to continue editing.

How do I add signatures to a procedure?

Signature fields remain disabled until all required fields are completed.

Once all required fields are filled:

  1. Select the date for the signature.

  2. Enter the name of the person signing.

  3. Capture the signature.

After the first signature is added, the procedure will be locked for editing. To make changes, all signatures must be deleted first, which will unlock the procedure.

How do I finalise a procedure?

Once all required fields are completed and all signatures (if required) are added:

  1. The Finalise Procedure button will become active.

  2. Click Finalise Procedure to complete the process.

  3. The status will change to Finalised.

Finalised procedures cannot be edited or deleted.

Where can I access finalised procedures?

Finalised procedures are available in several locations:

  • A PDF copy can be downloaded by clicking the Download button.

  • Finalised procedures appear in the Machine History of the associated asset for future reference.

  • They are visible to the customer in their Machine History if a portal is issued.
