What are tickets for?
Tickets sit in front of work orders. Not every request needs a work order straight away. Some are answered with a reply, some only need parts ordered, and some need more information before you decide whether onsite work is needed.
A ticket captures the request. Once the work is confirmed, you can create one or more work orders from it.
