An athlete's story always begins with the athlete

One easy and easy way is to jazz up the athlete pages on the sponsor's site with engaging stories that showcase their lifestyle.

LIVE-UPDATING ATHLETE WORLD MAP. Top-notch athlete content can be easily added to any spot on the sponsor's website.

Athletes can share their stories directly, choosing where to spotlight their journey. This setup is a win-win, letting athletes have control and making things smooth for everyone involved.

How can I add new content to my world map?

Updates happen through an upload of past travel stops, which need to be entered into the system first. Athletes usually keep track of their travel details using MAKULO and share them with their sponsors. After a trip, they can add different information based on what they find important.

If you want to share content about a location you haven't added yet, you'll need to create a Travel Stop in the system first to get an upload slot ready.

The position (geolocation) of the travel stop serves as the foundation for placing the content on the world map, making it a crucial starting point.

Athletes have a bunch of ways to put their info on their World Map and share it with sponsors. The easiest and fastest way is through the calendar. Each travel event on the calendar event of a travel stop you shared has a upload link.

With one click, a form opens up—kind of like WeTransfer, but better organized. This lets you enter all the needed details right from your phone while on the go.

If you prefer to upload from a desktop, access your "athlete cockpit" and go to the "Achievements" section. There, you'll see your athlete world map as viewed by your sponsor.

At the top of the map, there's an "Upload Project" button that leads you to a summary of all upload slots corresponding to your recorded travel destinations.

The last stop on your travel list is already set up, letting you upload content right away. The required materials show up as cards, and the amount depends on your sponsor's preferences. Upload your stuff, and once it's all there, a Publish button will pop up. If everything looks good to you, hit that button. Your content won't just be sent as a download link like WeTransfer; it'll be part of a nicely laid-out project template, making it easy for everyone to understand and access. Once your sponsor gives it the green light, it'll go live on your world map. Throughout this whole process, you'll get email updates, so you stay in the loop.

Put in a little extra effort now, and it will pay off both in the present and down the road!

When you're uploading, here's what to keep in mind: Pick at least 5 cool photos and use the best one for your album cover. Add a bit of text to explain the place, your project, trip, or event. If you can, throw in a video link to wow your fans. Think about putting together a highlight reel of your stuff on YouTube or Vimeo and linking it here. This will make your world map look even better, and your followers on YouTube or Vimeo will get to see your new content – it's a win-win!

With the content update, you'll join the team's world map. Plus, if you share a video, it'll take you to the start screen through the TEAM TV feature.

The Team World Map combines all the info about the sponsor's athletes in one place, complete with a highlight video based (TEAM TV) on what the sponsor prefers. It's usually part of the team's main page; you can check out an example here at the bottom of the page.

Check out the Team World Map whenever you want in the Athlete Cockpit by hitting the "Team" tab.

Join in and share your stuff!
