All you need to know about KYC – Nigeria
Follow these steps to verify your identity on the Roam app:
Step 1 — Confirm Your Legal Name
Tap “Click here to complete KYC”, select “Get Started”, and enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your official documents.
Step 2 — Provide Employment & Source of Funds
Enter your employment information, tap “Continue,” and select your preferred ID type (International Passport, Voter’s Card, Driver’s License, or NIN).
Step 3 — Verify Your ID
If you selected NIN:
Simply enter your NIN number and proceed to the selfie step.If you selected Passport, Driver’s License, or Voter’s Card:
Tap “Take a picture of my ID” to capture your ID, then follow the prompt to take a live selfie for face verification.
Step 4 — Pending Verification
Tap “Go Home” and allow us time to review your submission.
You’ll receive an update through your registered email once your KYC has been processed.
Tips for a Smooth KYC
Ensure all photos are clear, well-lit, and not cropped.
Avoid blurry or scanned images — always use original photos.
Make sure your personal information is fully visible on the ID.
