Do I need to create a Roam tag?
No — your Roam tag (your unique username) is automatically created when you sign up.
This means you can start receiving Roam-to-Roam transfers immediately without needing to set anything up, enabled by BEAM.
Just share your Roam tag with the sender, and you’re good to go!
How to send R2R (Beam) transfers
Here’s how to send USD to another Roam user:
Open the Roam app and log in.
On the home screen, tap “Beam”
Type in the amount you want to send.
Enter the recipient’s Roam tag.
Add a note (why you are sending money)
Review the details and Slide to Beam
Your transfer will arrive instantly — no extra fees, no waiting.
