Timer (Start/Stop) Method

Click on the time in the top black banner to open the timer fly-out menu. You can directly select which project, activity, category, and item to log your time against. If you select the item first, the category will auto-populate.

Once you have selected the appropriate project, activity, category, and item, click the Start timer banner. Remember to click the timer and stop it whenever you’ve finished or need to start logging your time to another item.

Manual Entry

Option A: Use the Timer for Manual Entry

You can easily log time anywhere in the Materio by clicking the timer feature. Once it is open, click the Manual tab. Fill out all of the information and click on Save time entry to log it.

Note: If you access the timer from the dashboard, you'll need to select a project first. Once you have a project selected, you can log time to scope items.

Option B: Using the Time Tracking Section

Open the Materio top-level menu by clicking the ≡ button and navigating to the Time Tracking line. Once there, you can input time entries.

Step 1

Navigate to the Time Tracking section.

Step 2

Click the bar with the plus icon (+) to create a manual time entry.

Step 3

Input all the time entries and set all configurable fields using the dropdown menus.

You have now successfully logged time to an item! Now, you can move on to how to bill for these time entries!
