How does a Virtual IPC work?
Updated over 8 months ago

In the Intensive Postpartum Care (IPC) program, new mothers participate in a structured 12-18 week virtual care regimen, initially targeting high-acuity issues such as postpartum depression, challenges with baby feeding, and physical recovery. Throughout this phase, participants engage in multiple virtual sessions each week with healthcare professionals

These individualized sessions allow mothers to receive personalized attention and care tailored to their specific needs. The program is designed to help mothers address the root causes of their postpartum challenges, develop effective strategies for coping, and establish healthy routines for themselves and their babies.

As the initial intensive care phase concludes, the focus shifts to ongoing support for lower-acuity issues, ensuring a seamless transition and continued support for long-term well-being. This approach provides a comprehensive continuum of care that evolves with the changing needs of mothers during the postpartum period.
