Files in Matidor allow you to upload, preview, organize, and review project documents and photos in one place. You can quickly access files uploaded by yourself or other team members without needing to download them.

Uploading Files

You can upload files to Matidor in the following ways:

  • From the Project Files panel

  • As attachments to Work items

File size limit: 50 MB per file

Uploaded files are stored at the project level and are accessible to users with the appropriate permissions.

Photo Tags

Photo appear throughout the platform as clickable tags, including:

  • File lists

  • Form attachments

  • Comments

  • Activity feeds

On the map, photos appear as a photo icon at their recorded location.

Opening a Preview

  • Click a photo or PDF thumbnail to open the preview panel

  • Photos and PDFs can be viewed directly in Matidor

  • On the map:

    • Clicking a photo icon opens a small preview

    • Clicking the small preview opens the full preview panel

Viewing GIS Metadata

If a photo contains GIS metadata, the information is displayed while previewing the image. This provides additional spatial context directly within Matidor.

Browsing Project Files

The Project Files panel shows all files uploaded to a project, including photos, reports, and logs from all contributors.

From the file list, you can:

  • View files uploaded by different users

  • Click photos or PDFs to preview them in a side panel

  • Download files

  • Delete files if you have permission

Expanded Table View

In expanded table view, you can:

  • Select one or more files

  • Batch download multiple files

  • Batch delete multiple files

This makes it easier to manage large volumes of project files.

Filtering Files

Filters help you narrow down files and quickly find what you need.

Always Visible Filters

The following filters are always available:

  • File type (multi-select)

  • Uploaded by (multi-select)

  • Uploaded date (date range)

Additional Filters

You can also filter files using:

  • All file-related fields

  • Project key and project name (multi-select)

  • All project fields, including system fields and custom library fields

Filters can be combined to refine results further.
