September's release focuses on improving project and work management, streamlining data imports, enhancing the login and account experience, and making project information easier to view across web and mobile.
Website Improvements
Work & Views
• Work Filters: Added children filter options to Work tables, Timelines, and Lists:Parent work and subtasks, Parent work only, and Subtasks only
• Improved filtering behavior for parent fields and non-schedule fields in Project tables and Work Timelines.
• Improved the display of default subtasks from imported work in List, Table, and Timeline views.
• Improved status and assignee updates when editing multiple Works in batch.
• Improved parent field information when filtering Project tables by subproject template.
• Table Expansion: Added a popover pointing users to the expand button, making it easier to discover how to expand tables. Once the button is clicked, the popover will no longer appear.
• Views: Fixed an issue where a View was not created when using a parent field filter in the Project table.
Projects & Portfolios
Improved the display of subprojects in newly created automated portfolios.
Improved subproject filtering in automated portfolios.
Budgets & Costs
Added the ability to import budgets from Excel files.
Added the ability to import costs from Excel files.
Custom field values are now displayed correctly in Budget and Cost tables when viewing All Projects.
Removed the All Costs section from the budget list when no budget is available.
Files
PDF export metadata now uses UTM coordinates when UTM coordinates are configured for the project.
Templates
Improved dropdown field editing in templates, including dropdown values that are already in use.
Mobile Improvements
Login & Account Experience
New users can create a Matidor account from the mobile app and start a free 14-day trial.
Added the ability for signed-in users to delete their account from the bottom of the Account Settings page.
Photos
Added a preview step after taking a photo, allowing users to review the photo and rename it before continuing.
When editing a file or photo title, the Name field is now automatically focused for faster editing.
Projects & Maps
Projects now zoom in further when opened, making it easier to start working with project details.
The map now updates correctly when filtering portfolios on mobile devices.
Improved the display of subprojects when filtering by automated portfolios.
Added a Record Path option, replacing the previous Move and Draw terminology.
Work & Comments
Create Work: Tapping the + button now opens Work creation in a full panel.
Increased section header font size and spacing for improved readability.
Removed the empty mentions placeholder from Home when no comments are present.
Offline Mode & Browser Experience
Improved the Download popup prompt text in Offline Mode.
In browser mode, added a button to download the mobile app or open the project in the app.
