Once the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has ensured that all fire-related debris has been removed from your property and soil testing meets standards, contractors will return to install erosion control methods. USACE will then report to the county that your lot is cleared. The county will provide you with a closeout package and notify you that your property is safe and ready for rebuilding.
Follow these Steps:
Go to MauiRecovers.org and click on the “Consolidated Debris Removal Closeout
Package” map in the Maps & Data section.
Search 🔍 your address in the map's search box.
Click on your property and then click on “View Permit & Documents” link in the pop-up box, which will take you to MAPPS.
Click on the Permit Number, which will be highlighted in YELLOW.
Click on the “Attachments” tab to access a downloadable PDF of your closeout package.
