Overview
Maxanet's Quick Photo Loader on the Images tab is the fastest way to add photos to items you've already created. You can load multiple photos per item, reorder them by drag and drop, set the primary image, and move to the next item without leaving the page. The Manage Images action on each item row in the Items tab does the same thing from a slide-in panel, and there are also bulk download and delete-all options.
How to open the Images tab for an auction
From your Maxanet Admin panel, click the auction title to enter the auction dashboard, then click the Images tab. This is the dedicated screen for loading, reordering, downloading, and bulk-managing photos across every item in the auction.
How to upload multiple photos per item without leaving the page
On the Images tab, select an item and drag photos directly onto its upload area (or click to browse your file system for multiple photos). Photos upload automatically. After uploading for one item, simply select the next item in the same Images tab view and upload its photos — you never leave the Images tab. This workflow is much faster than opening each item individually from the Items tab.
How to reorder photos for an item
Each item's photos appear as thumbnails on the Images tab. Click and drag a thumbnail to change its display order. Drag a photo to the far left to make it the primary/first photo — that's the image bidders will see on the auction listing card.
How to download or delete all photos for the whole auction
Download all photos as ZIP: the green Download button at the top of the Images tab exports every photo across every item in the auction into a compressed ZIP file. For large auctions with hundreds or thousands of photos, processing takes time — Maxanet sends you an email with a download link when the ZIP is ready.
Delete all photos: the Delete All button removes every photo from every item in the auction. This is useful when an incorrect batch was uploaded and you need to start over. Important: this is not reversible — double-check before confirming.
How to load photos from the Items tab using Manage Images
You can also load photos from the Items tab directly. On each item's row, click the 3-dot Actions menu and choose Manage Images. A panel slides in from the right where you can drag and drop (or click to browse) photos — select multiple at once and they upload automatically. Larger photos may take up to 30 seconds per batch. Once uploaded, use the inline tools to set the primary image, delete individual photos, or download them. The Photos column on the Items list shows a small thumbnail plus a number indicating how many photos the item currently has.

Common questions
How do I set the primary (main) photo for an item?
On either the Images tab or the Manage Images panel, drag the desired photo to the far left position. Maxanet uses the leftmost photo as the primary image shown on auction listing cards.
How many photos can I upload to a single item?
There is no documented hard limit. Maxanet handles dozens of photos per item without issue.
The Delete All button deleted my photos by mistake — can I recover them?
Delete All is not reversible through the UI. If you have a ZIP backup from a previous Download, re-upload those. Otherwise, contact Maxanet support immediately — they may be able to help but recovery is not guaranteed.
Why is my photo upload taking so long?
Large photo files (>5 MB) take longer to upload, especially in batches. Be patient — Maxanet confirms uploads have completed. For best performance, resize photos to ~1500-2000 px wide before uploading.
Can I upload photos to items I haven't created yet?
No. Photos attach to existing items. Either create the items first (Integrated Loader or Excel bulk upload), or use QR Code Bulk Upload which can generate items and photos together.
