Overview
Maxanet has a per-auction toggle that controls whether bidder email addresses appear on invoices. You can turn it on to include bidder emails for your internal records and pickup coordination, or turn it off to keep bidder email addresses off printed invoices for privacy. The setting lives on the Auction Dashboard, not the Invoices tab.
How to toggle the Display Bidder Email Addresses setting
From your Maxanet Admin panel, open the auction dashboard for the specific auction you want to configure. On the right side of the Auction Dashboard, click the orange circle to expand the additional settings panel. Find the Display Bidder Email Addresses on Invoices toggle switch and flip it to ON or OFF based on your preference. The change takes effect immediately for every invoice in this auction.
Common questions
Is this setting per-auction or global?
Per-auction. Every auction has its own toggle so you can choose to show or hide bidder emails on a per-event basis.
Will this affect invoices that were already generated?
Yes. The toggle controls how invoices are displayed, so changing it retroactively shows or hides emails on existing invoices in that auction.
Why would I want to hide bidder email addresses?
Most commonly for privacy β many clients prefer not to print bidder emails on paper invoices that may change hands at pickup. Your internal records still have the email address regardless.
