Overview

The Maxanet Mobile App lets you create and manage auctions and inventory directly from your phone or tablet, with two-way sync to your desktop admin panel — everything you do in the app is immediately visible in Maxanet's web interface and vice versa. This article walks through the first-time setup: download, login, creating your first auction, adding items, and uploading photos from the device camera.

Step 1 — Download the Maxanet Mobile App

Download the app from the Apple App Store (iOS/iPadOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). The same app works on phones and tablets.

Step 2 — Log into the app with your Maxanet credentials

Open the app and log in using your Maxanet admin credentials. You must have a valid Maxanet user account to use the app. Important: select the correct Prod number for your account (prod1, prod3, etc.). If you don't know which Prod your account uses, email support@maxanet.com to find out. Selecting the wrong Prod will cause login to fail.

Step 3 — Create your first auction

Once logged in, click the Add Auction button in the top right of the home screen. Any existing auctions are listed and can be edited by tapping the pencil icon next to the auction title.

Step 4 — Fill in auction details

Pay attention to all required fields marked with a red asterisk (Title, Start Date, End Date, Auction Type). Once you reach the bottom of the first page, tap Next to advance. Continue filling in the remaining details and tap Save at the bottom to create the auction. You will see a confirmation that your auction was successfully created.

Step 5 — Add items to the new auction

From the confirmation screen after saving the auction, tap Add Items. On the Items screen, tap the green Add Item button to add a new item. Fill in the item details — all required fields are marked with a red asterisk, and each item must have a description to appear on your public page.

Step 6 — Take or select photos for items

Tap inside the +Add Photos box to launch your device camera. The first time, the app may ask for permission to access your camera and photo library — grant access to continue. You can take a new photo with the device camera or select existing photos from your camera roll. Multiple photos per item are supported.

Two-way sync with the desktop admin panel

Everything you do in the Maxanet Mobile App is immediately reflected in your desktop Maxanet admin panel, and vice versa. Create an auction on your phone at a consignor's location, then fine-tune the auction details and fees on your desktop later — the same auction data is available in both places instantly.
