Trying a Demo Note in Maxly

Updated this week

New to Maxly? Try the demo note to see how Maxly transcribes and generates clinical notes—no patient needed.

Why Try a Demo Note?

The demo note lets you see Maxly in action by generating a pre-made clinical note, complete with sections like Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP). It's a perfect way to:

  • Understand how Maxly structures clinical notes.

  • Explore the accuracy of its transcription and note generation.

  • Get familiar with the platform before your first real patient encounter.

How to Try a Demo Note

Follow these steps to try a demo note after setting up your account:

  1. Complete the Onboarding: After creating your account, selecting your veterinary specialty, and enabling microphone permissions, you'll see the "Try a Demo Note" screen.

  2. Start the Demo: Click the "Try Demo Note" button to begin.

  3. View the Demo Note: Maxly will generate a sample SOAP note based on a pre-recorded veterinary encounter. You'll see sections like:

  4. Subjective: The patient history reported by the owner (e.g., "A 5-year-old Labrador Retriever presents with a 2-week history of intermittent vomiting and decreased appetite...").

  5. Objective: Clinical observations (e.g., vital signs, physical exam findings).

  6. Assessment: The veterinarian's diagnosis or differential diagnosis.

  7. Plan: Recommended treatment or follow-up steps.

  8. Interact with the Note: Use the sidebar to navigate between sections, copy the text, or export the note as a PDF. You can also rate the note to provide feedback.
