💡 The calendar integration in Mbrella Charge is a feature that allows the app to suggest charging stations based on your upcoming appointments. This way, Mbrella charge helps you to plan your charging more efficiently by suggesting convenient charging locations based on your schedule.
Here's how you can enable and use it:
Enabling the calendar integration:
In the right-top corner, open the menu in your Mbrella Charge app & select Settings
Enable "Access to calendar"
Grant the app permission to access your calendar data. You should receive a pop-up, if not, use the permissions in the settings app of your phone.
Using the calendar integration:
Once enabled, you will see a calendar icon on the right side of your map within the app. Tap on this calendar icon to activate the feature.
The app will suggest charge points close to the upcoming appointments that you might have scheduled for today or tomorrow in your linked calendar app.
You see them on the map, centered around your appointment location
But you also see a list of the available chargers, with the most important information, including the distance & walking time from your appointment.
By default, the app will suggest chargers around your next appointment.
Do you want to plan ahead & already see potential chargers for the other upcoming appointments in your agenda?
Click on the name of the appointment that is currently selected
You will now see a list of all your upcoming appointments
Select one to see chargers in the neighbourhood.
