Did you know that Mbrella allows you to make the platform follow your mobility policy through controls?

This includes the possibility of blocking expenses or allowances on public holidays

What does it mean concretely?

You can now activate spending controls to block mobility expenses on weekends and public holidays. This means no more surprise charges for Saturday night Ubers or leisurely train rides on company budgets. It's all about ensuring that spending only follows the script of business days.

This new control works seamlessly alongside existing settings that govern specific mobility categories, like taxis or scooters, making it easy to enforce your company’s mobility policy to the letter.

How does it work?

  1. Log In to Your Manager Account: Begin by logging into your Mbrella account with your manager credentials.

  2. Access the expense tab

  3. Locate the spending controls: This option is at the top right of you expense page, once you've clicked on it go to the calendar controls.

  4. Find Public Holidays: Look for a section or a toggle switch marked 'Public Holidays'. This feature controls whether public holidays are recognized and marked automatically in your organization’s calendar.

  5. Activate Public Holidays: If public holidays are currently deactivated, you can activate them by toggling the switch to 'On'. This will ensure that all public holidays recognized by your organization's region are automatically marked as non-working days.

If your company uses different budget types on Mbrella you can make different settings for each budget type.
