What CREG tariff options are available for home charging reimbursement?

Choose the right electricity reimbursement tariff for your organisation.

Written by Zeynep

When reimbursing employees for home charging, you need to decide which CREG tariff to apply. Here's what's available and how to choose.

Mbrella offers two CREG tariff options for home charging reimbursement:

  • Regional CREG tariff – This is the average electricity cost specific to the region where your employee lives: Brussels, Flanders, or Wallonia. It's updated quarterly.

  • National CREG tariff – This is the lowest of the three regional tariffs and is also updated every quarter.

You can view the current tariffs anytime on the CREG website.

💡 Tip: The national tariff is often used by organisations that want a simplified, consistent rate across all employees, regardless of location.
