Import a Metrc package into Meadow

If a package exists in your Metrc account but not in Meadow, you can import it directly — no Metrc transfer required.

Have a package in Metrc that's not showing up in Meadow? You can now import it directly without needing a Metrc transfer.

This is useful when a package exists in your Metrc account but was never received into Meadow — for example, during a system switchover, after a self-transfer, or if a package was voided from Meadow but still exists in Metrc.

How to import a package

  1. Click Import Package

  2. Enter the Metrc package UID that exists in Metrc but not Meadow

  3. Receive the package

Once received, you can manage the package as usual directly in Meadow — receive it on a PO or use Package Intake.

When to use this

  • A package exists in Metrc but never came into Meadow through a transfer

  • A package was voided from Meadow (Recreate as Ready = No) but you need to bring it back without a self-transfer

  • A self-transfer was completed in Metrc and the package needs to appear in Meadow

Common questions

Where do I find the Metrc package UID?

Log into Metrc, find the package, and copy the full UID. You can also right-click the tag in Metrc, select "Copy to clipboard," then "Tag."

Does the package need to be active in Metrc?

Yes. You can only import packages that currently exist and are active in your Metrc account.

What happens after I import?

The package appears in Meadow's Ready tab. From there, you can receive it through a purchase order or use Package Intake to receive it directly.
