How long have I had this inventory on hand? (finding package age)

Using a Current Inventory report, you can find how many days you've had any package or what date you received it.

Want to clear out your oldest inventory or see if something isn't selling?

Using the following steps you can see how long you've had each package and/or the date you received it:

  1. Generate, download and open a Current Inventory report.

  2. Click the "Packages" tab on the bottom of the report.

  3. Select any part of the tab.

  4. Click PivotTable Analyze

  5. Click Field List.

  6. Search for "Reception" to see the reception days or date fields.

  7. Check the box next to "Reception Days" to show the number of days you've had each package. Click. "Reception Date" to show the date the package was received.

  8. "Count of Reception Days/Date" will now show in "Values." You can right click it and select "Field Settings;" change the field from "Count" to "Max" and click Ok. The package days/date will not be displayed in a column for each package.

  9. If you want to sort to show the oldest/newest packages, you can click the "Row Labels" area and click Sort By, then Reception Days/Date, then Ascending/Descending.
