Release April 2026

Pre-allocate WBA assessors, forms group view, auto-email completed forms, single section retraction, and more

Written by Duncan Paradice

What's new everyone!

The team has been busy — here's what's just shipped. This release brings some big workflow improvements for WBA programs and form-heavy accounts, including the ability to pre-pair assessors with candidates, a new cohort-grouped view of forms, and an option to automatically email completed forms to everyone involved. As always there's a few things under the hood and a heap of bug fixes to keep the machine running smoothly.

Update

Description

Pre-allocate Assessors to Candidates

If you're running a WBA program (or any structured assessment), you can now pair candidates with their specific assessors when you set up the form distribution. The candidate no longer needs to nominate the assessor themselves — the right person is already locked in for the relevant section. Removes a layer of admin chasing and reduces mis-assignments. Particularly valuable for IMG WBA programs.

Forms group view

Your forms list now has a cohort-grouped layout. For accounts with large rotations and multiple distributions per cohort, this makes it a lot easier to scan progress and spot which cohorts have outstanding work.

Send completed form to all participants

A new toggle to automatically email the completed PDF to everyone involved in the form — clinician, assessor, supervisor — once it's signed off. Configurable at the form level (default for new distributions) and overridable at the distribution level. Saves a follow-up step for everyone and gives clinicians their own copy without having to chase one.

Single section retraction

If a clinician or assessor accidentally submits a section before they're done, they can now retract it themselves and pick up where they left off. Particularly useful for logbook-style forms where an accidental tap on submit previously locked the form and required admin intervention.

Dropdown question type

A new dropdown question type for forms and surveys, designed for questions with many options where the existing multi-choice radio button layout gets unwieldy. Supports default values, single-select and multi-select modes, and uses the native mobile picker. CSV output matches the multi-choice format so existing reporting workflows are unchanged.

Survey introduction character limit increased

The character limit for survey introduction text has been lifted from 500 to 1,500 characters — more room for context, framing, or instructions at the start of a survey.

Event attendance sort

Sorting the event attendance list by 'Marked attending on' now follows a more useful order: present users sort by date at the top, and absent users always appear at the bottom regardless of date.

Cohort chooser improvements

If you're on an account with a large list of cohorts, the cohort chooser now uses server-side search — so cohorts beyond the previous limit are no longer hidden when you're configuring a form distribution. Also fixed: when adding users to a cohort, the form distribution modal now correctly shows only distributions where the cohort is the primary recipient.

Bug fixes and improvements
