How to use Export Templates in the Sheet View
Exporting data from the Sheet View and adapting it to a third-party platform is streamlined with the use of export templates. These templates allow you to customize the data format to suit your needs, ensuring compatibility and ease of integration.
⚠️ Only Admins or Editors (if they are the template's creator) have editing rights for a public template.
Create and Customize Export Templates
Follow these steps to create your export templates:
Access Export Templates:
In the Sheet View, click on the "Export" button.
A new option, "Create new template," will appear.
Create a New Template:
Name your template in the "Template Name" field.
Optional Settings:
Customize the Template:
Open the "Template Editor."
Select the media type(s) you want to include in the export.
Choose the fields you want to include and arrange them in your preferred order.
Customize the field heading titles and date format if needed.
Note that all settings are automatically saved, so you can exit the view at any time.
Exporting an Existing Template
In the Sheet View: Click on the "Export" button and select the template you want to use.
Export Data: The data will be exported as an Excel file.
Editing or Deleting a Template
In the Sheet View: Click on the "Export" button and select the template you want to use.
Edit Icon: Click on the "Edit" icon next to the template you want to modify.
Template Editor: This will open the "Template Editor," where you can make changes or delete the template.
