This article is part of the “Self-Scored Quiz + Private Podcast” series, which walks through the strategy, setup, and monetization of this experience.
In Part 1, you built the quiz.
Now we’ll build the private podcast portion — the part that deepens connection, adds context, and makes your follow-up feel aligned instead of random.
If your product is set to Progressive, this module will unlock automatically after the quiz is completed.
Step 1: Name and Set Up the Podcast Module
Your second module should be titled something clear and simple, such as:
Your Private Podcast
Or the actual name of your podcast
Keep it straightforward. This helps it feel intentional rather than like a random bonus.
Inside the module description (the text that appears at the top of the module), add context about:
Why this podcast exists
What it will help them understand
How to consume it
For example:
Should they listen all at once?
Can they return to it?
Is it meant to clarify, reframe, or guide next steps?
This small piece of framing dramatically improves how people engage with the content.
Step 2: Add One or More Podcast Lessons
Inside this module, you can add:
One episode lesson
Or multiple episodes lessons
You’re not limited to a single lesson.
You can create a single focused episode, likely longer in length, or a short mini-series with 3-6 quick under 15 min episodes.
Both strategies work.
The key is clarity, and quick wins for the listener around something they want to improve or solve.
Step 3: Add Your Audio
You have two solid delivery options.
Option A: Use MemberVault’s Built-In Audio Feature
You can upload or embed audio directly inside each lesson.
This is the simplest setup and keeps everything contained within MemberVault.
This works well if:
You want fewer moving parts
You’re sharing one or a few episodes
You’re comfortable with listeners playing audio on the lesson page
Option B: Use a Private Podcast Feed (Optional)
If you want listeners to subscribe in their preferred podcast app (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.), you can use a private podcast tool like HelloAudio. (affiliate link)
HelloAudio is a direct integration partner and allows you to create a private podcast feed that people can listen to in their preferred app. HelloAudio and MemberVault work really well together, and this adds even more accessibility to your content.
You can place the HelloAudio subscription link inside the module and lesson(s).
Step 4: Use the Homework / Lesson Section for “What to Do Next”
Below the audio, use the lesson’s homework or follow-up section to clearly guide the next step.
This is where you answer:
What should they do after listening?
Should they reply to an email?
Should they explore a product?
Should they reflect on something?
Keep it simple and clear.
Because they just completed the quiz and listened to your perspective, this next step won’t feel abrupt — it will feel connected.
You don’t need a heavy pitch. A single aligned action is enough.
Why This Matters
The quiz gives you segmentation.
The podcast builds trust.
When someone hears your voice and understands how you think about their situation, they move from passive subscriber to engaged listener.
That shift increases:
Engagement
Confidence in your recommendations
Conversions when you introduce an offer
You’re not just unlocking content — you’re strengthening connection.
Quick Checklist
Before moving on, confirm:
Your product is set to Progressive
The module title is clear
The module description explains how and why to consume the content
Audio is embedded or linked properly
The homework section includes a clear next step
If those are in place, you’re ready for the final piece.
