You can easily collect new subscribers to your Flodesk list from your MemberVault site by using the Form signup type in either Products or Offers. However, these forms will only appear on their own pages and are not embeddable into a sales or landing page that you create in MemberVault.
Fortunately, if you do want to embed a signup form for Flodesk into your MemberVault site, then you can! We have a Subscribe Page template you can use for this in our Pages Feature.
Part 1: Create or Find the Form you want to embed in Flodesk
In your Flodesk account, go to the Forms tab.
Click "+ New Form" and choose "Inline" for the format type, or select an Inline Form you've already created. Inline forms will provide you with the embed codes you need.
Customize your template, assign any segments, and adjust your preferences as needed for this form.
Once you've gotten your Form set up the way you'd like, click on "Embed" in the top right corner.
In the screen that pops up, you'll see two lines of Code: The Header and the Inline code. You will need both in order to embed your form on MV.
Part 2: Add your Form to MemberVault
Copy the Header code from your Flodesk form. If you are planning to use this particular form in multiple places throughout your MemberVault site (or inside any of your Products), then paste your code under "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Custom Javascript."
If you only need the form for one Page or one Post, then you can use the Custom Javascript box on that specific page or post under "Advanced" below your content when editing your Page or Post.
Once you've pasted your Header code into the Custom Javascript settings (either account-wide or for a specific page or post), copy the Inline code from Flodesk.
Open the page, post, or lesson in MemberVault where you want to embed your form. You can embed this Form anywhere that includes the "Insert Media" button. In our example, we're using MV Pages:
In the "Insert Media" pop up box, click "Embed".
Paste your Inline code into the Embed code box and click "Save."
Preview your page, post or lesson to check that the form is embedded properly (it usually doesn't appear in the admin editor, but don't worry -- if it previews correctly then you're good to go)!
Heads up: At the time of writing this article, you can send subscriber info to Flodesk thanks to our direct integration. But if you want to add new subscribers or purchasers from Flodesk to MemberVault, you'll need to use Zapier or a similar 3rd party tool.
So if you want to collect subscribers on a Flodesk form and then send them back to MV to give access to a Product, we recommend either going direct with our Product Form Sign Up Type or be prepared to use Zapier as part of this process!
