With our direct Flodesk Integration, you can now easily add new subscribers to your Flodesk list by using our Direct SignUp and Checkout Forms that come with both our Products and Offers features.
As a quick reminder, you can use the "Form" signup type for free products, and it'll work similarly to a form or landing page in Flodesk.
But it's always fun to play around with different signup types, and you also may find yourself wanting to use more customization in your Form sign-ups that your Flodesk account provides! Fortunately you can embed Flodesk forms into your MV, which gives you even more options to grow your list.
In this article, we'll walk you through how to embed a pop-up form that can appear on your entire site, or on a specific page or post depending on your preference! You can also embed an Inline form from Flodesk (see those steps here.)
Step 1: Create and customize your pop-up form in Flodesk
Log in to your Flodesk account.
Go to Forms.
Create a Popup form.
Customize the design, text, and settings.
When your form is ready, click Embed.
You will see the Header Code, which begins with the <script> tag. Copy this code to add to your MemberVault site.
Option 1: Add the pop-up form to your entire MemberVault website
If you want your pop-up to appear across your whole website, add the header code to your Advanced Javascript sitewide settings.
Step 2: Add the pop-up header code site-wide
Log in to your admin account.
Click "Settings" > "General" in the left side menu.
Scroll down to "Advanced" settings.
Paste the Flodesk header code into the Custom Javascript box.
Click anywhere on your screen to save the code.
Your popup form can now appear across your entire MemberVault site (and you can adjust your display settings for each form over in Flodesk).
Option 2: Add the pop-up form to a single page
If you want the popup to appear only on one specific page or blog post (for example, a landing page or About page), add the code to that page or post's settings.
Step 2: Add the pop-up header code to a specific page
In MemberVault, click "Content" > "Pages" or "Content" > "Posts".
Click the pencil and paper edit icon next to the page or post where you want the pop-up form to appear.
Scroll down to "Advanced" below your page or post.
Paste the Flodesk header code into the Custom Javascript field.
Click anywhere on the screen to save your changes.
Your pop-up will now display only on that page.
Heads up: Pop-up timing, triggers, and display behavior are controlled inside your Flodesk popup form settings. There is not a setting in MemberVault to customize these areas!
