It's important to have tracking analytics on your MV so you can get even more data beyond what we surface in our reports. Whether you're focused on improving your SEO (search engine optimization) today, tomorrow or in the future -- this is an important step so you have data when you're ready.

When installing site analytics, it's important to be mindful that you take on the responsibility to comply with all Privacy Laws in any location from which people will be accessing your site.

We use and love Fathom for our analytics. ❤️ If you'd like to sign up with our affiliate code, here it is! https://membervault.co/fathom

Data tracking and privacy concerns can be managed by using a service such as Fathom, for example.

"Fathom is a Google Analytics alternative that doesn’t compromise visitor privacy for data. We revolutionized website analytics by making them easy to use and respectful of privacy laws (like GDPR and more)."

We no longer recommend Google Analytics for tracking, due to their policies with ownership of user data that your site would collect.

If you are familiar with GDPR policies and are comfortable using Google Analytics for your business, you can get started with their service here: https://analytics.google.com/

How To Add Tracking Code

Get the relevant tracking code from the service of your choice and Copy it to your clipboard. You may wish to paste this into a text document for backup.

Log into your MV and navigate to > Settings > General.

Paste the code you copied into the custom javascript area and click save.

You're done! 🙌
