In order to be GDPR compliant, you may wish for only those users who consent to getting your emails to be added to your newsletter series.
You use actions to do this automatically, but the action for this is found in a different section than the usual product specific actions that you can find at the bottom of each product page that you are editing.
First, switch on the Email Consent button under General Settings
Next, go to Users > Actions
Click on [Add Action]
Select your trigger in the 'When this happens" section.
Add the action(s) that you would like to occur when the event is triggered.
You're all set!
