It's possible to grant product access to all of your members, as well as grant individual access to products. However, sometimes you may want to give a certain group of members access to a product rather than all your members (i.e. an updated version of your course, or a new resource specifically for those who have purchased a product from you).
There are two methods we recommend using for this:
Option 1: Webhooks
If your email service has a webhook feature, then you can create an automation to add a certain group of contacts in your email list to your product in MemberVault. Here's how to do this.
Additionally you could use Zapier or a similar 3rd party tool to grant product access to a specific group of contacts on your email list if your email service doesn't support webhooks.
Option 2: Import via a CSV File
You can also use our Import feature located under "Members" to add a CSV file of your members to grant this specific product access. Our system is smart enough to not create duplicate contacts in this case -- all it will do is add the product to the existing members' account.
Here's how to do it:
Go to "Members" > "List," and select your product containing the members you want to move from the dropdown menu next to "All Members."
Download a CSV file of just those members.
Now click on "Import" under "Members".
Select the CSV file that you just downloaded, click the button to confirm you have permission to upload these members, and then select "Import CSV File".
Next you'll be asked to select any products you'd like to add the members to. Select the new product that you're wanting these people to access, follow the prompts to confirm the changes, and you're all set! Note: if you're importing a large contact list, this could take several minutes to complete.
