The World Map feature in Mentionlytics provides a geographic overview of where your mentions come from. It is available across all plans and helps you understand the country-level distribution of the online conversations about your brand.
This feature allows you to quickly identify where your audience is most active and analyze mentions by country.
What Can I See in the World Map?
Within the World Map section, you will find:
An interactive global map displaying mentions geographically at the country level.
A country distribution pie chart showing the countries generating the highest percentage of mentions.
A country breakdown list, which is located below the map. This section displays all detected countries along with the exact number of mentions for each.
Note: Mentionlytics offers geographical divisions that are available when selecting a specific country in the dropdown menu.
How to Use the World Map
Navigate to your Overview Dashboard.
Locate the World Map widget.
Review the visual distribution of your mentions.
All elements within the feature are interactive:
Click on a country directly on the map.
Choose a country from the list.
Once selected, the platform automatically filters your mentions to display:
Mentions originating from the selected country
Sentiment analysis
Associated analytics and metrics
This allows you to move from a high-level geographic overview to detailed mention analysis instantly.
World Map Settings Explained
The World Map includes the following settings:
View Selector (top right corner): Switch between the global view and a focused country view.
Refresh Option: Update the map to reflect newly collected mentions.
Zoom Controls (top left corner): Use the "+" and "–" buttons to zoom in or out for better viewing.
