How Paige Creates Videos from Your Images

  • Paige automatically generates videos using the images you've uploaded via the image upload link or directly in the dashboard.

  • These are the same images used for your posts and photos section on your GBP.

  • Since you're already connected to your Google Business Profile, no additional setup is needed—just enable video posting.

  • Once the video is generated and approved (if approval settings are enabled), it will be uploaded to the media section of your Google Business Profile and to the YouTube channel you connect. Please note that it can take a few hours from the time Paige sends your video to Google & YouTube before it shows up on your Google Business Profile. This delay is due to Google processing the video, analyzing it, and performing safety checks.

How to Edit Your Videos

Paige lets you edit videos before they go live. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Automations" Tab in Paige.

  2. Find the Video You Want to Edit and click the pencil icon (bottom right of the video preview).

  3. In the edit popup, you can:

    • Add, remove, or reorder images in the video.

    • Edit the narration script or make small text changes.

    • Modify the text on the intro slide, ending slide, or video title (the title is only used for YouTube once supported).

  4. Save Your Changes, and the video will regenerate with the updated details.

Managing Images for Videos

  • If you don’t want certain images to be used for videos, go to the Images tab (found in the top-right profile menu) and unselect “Use for videos” on the images you want to exclude.

  • Paige ensures your videos are unique by not reusing the same photos across multiple videos, so keep uploading fresh images!

How Video Quality Works

  • The preview version of your video may appear blurry—this is normal. Paige will upscale the final video before posting it to GBP or YouTube.

  • If images seem blurry or transitions look incorrect, refresh the page and try again. Sometimes previews take extra time to finalize.

  • Images that were uploaded prior to March 10th, 2025 may appear blurrier in videos due to the way we compressed images previously. We do our best to upscale them, but it's not perfect.

Narration & Voice Selection

  • Paige will randomly select a voice for each video.

  • If you edit the video, a new voice will be assigned at random.

  • You can select from different voice options for narration.

Reordering Images in a Video

  1. Click the edit pencil icon in the Automations tab.

  2. Unselect all photos on the left panel.

  3. Re-select the images in your desired order by clicking the top-left bubble icon of each one.

  4. Save your changes, and Paige will regenerate the video with the new image order.

Connecting a YouTube Channel

Connecting a YouTube channel to Paige is simple. If you are an Owner user on the YouTube channel, simply click the Connect button and log into the Google account that's connected to your YouTube channel, then select the desired YouTube channel from the dropdown. If you are not yet an Owner on the YouTube channel you'd like Paige to publish videos to, you have two options:

Option 1: Send them the external invite link found under the Connect button. This will let them easily grant Paige access to post to their YouTube channel by simply logging into the Google account that owns their YouTube channel.

Option 2: Send the following instructions to an Owner to have them make you an Owner:

  1. Ask the current Owner of the YouTube channel to go to https://studio.youtube.com.

  2. Click "Settings" on the bottom left

  3. Click "Permissions"

  4. Click "Manage Permissions"

  5. Click "Manage Permissions" again

  6. Add your Google-powered (Gmail or Google Workspace) email address as an Owner. Manager access will not suffice.

  7. Once they complete this, you will get an invitation from Google. Just accept the invitation, then connect the YouTube channel in Paige by following the steps above.

Here is a video of what this person will experience:

Important Limitations

  • Each video can have up to 10 images.

  • The video description is generated for manual YouTube uploads but won’t be included on GBP (since Google doesn’t support descriptions for GBP videos).

  • The view preview on the video approval screen might take up to 30 seconds to load, depending on your internet speed.

  • You must be an Owner user on the YouTube channel you're trying to connect. Manager access will not suffice due to a limitation in the Google/YouTube API.
