How to Send Review Requests in Bulk with a CSV File

Learn how to send review requests in bulk in Paige by uploading a CSV file, setting a daily enrollment limit, starting or pausing the campaign, and tracking progress.

Paige makes it easy to request reviews from many customers at once without adding them one by one. Just upload a CSV file of your customers, choose how many new people Paige should enroll in your review campaign each day, and Paige will handle the rest. This is a great option if you already have a customer list and want to send review requests gradually in a safe, natural way.

Before you begin

Before starting your bulk review request campaign, make sure:

  • Your CSV file is ready to upload.

  • Your file includes a column labeled "phone" and/or "email".

  • Your automated review campaign settings are already configured.

  • You have connected at least one email sender or phone sender.

Paige will send review requests by email unless a phone number is available and you have an SMS integration configured. In that case, Paige will send the request by text message instead.

Important: If you have not connected an email sender or phone sender in your automated review campaign settings, Paige will not be able to send any review requests.

How to upload a CSV file

  1. Open the Review Management Automation tab.

  2. In the Automated Review Request Campaign section, select Upload CSV File.

  3. Choose Upload CSV and upload your file.

  4. Select how many new contacts you want Paige to enroll from the file each day.

After the upload is complete, Paige will show you how many valid contacts were found. This helps confirm that your file was accepted and shows how many customers are available to be enrolled.

Recommended daily limit

We strongly recommend enrolling 5 new customers per day or fewer. Sending too many review requests at once can create a sudden spike in reviews. That may look unnatural to Google and could hurt your rankings instead of helping them. Paige only sends review requests during typical business hours for your type of business in your city.

Start the campaign

Once you have selected the number of customers Paige should add each day, click Start Campaign. Paige will immediately begin using the settings already configured in your review campaign. It will start adding customers from your uploaded CSV based on the daily limit you selected.

Pause the campaign

If you want to stop enrolling new customers for a while, click Pause Campaign.

When a campaign is paused:

  • Paige stops adding new people from the CSV list.

  • Anyone who is already in the campaign will continue through the rest of the campaign as normal.

This is useful if you want to slow things down without interrupting customers who have already started receiving review requests.

Remove an uploaded CSV file

If you uploaded the wrong file or want to start over, click the X next to the file name.

This removes the uploaded CSV so you can upload a different one.

Track campaign progress

As the campaign runs, Paige will show you how many people have already been asked for reviews compared to the total number of people in the uploaded list.

This makes it easy to track progress at a glance.

What happens when the list is finished?

Once Paige has worked through the entire CSV list, the review request details section will disappear. At that point, you can upload a new CSV file to start another bulk review request campaign.

Important note about changing the daily limit

You can change how many new people Paige enrolls each day, but the update does not take effect immediately. Any change to the daily enrollment amount will begin the following day.

Troubleshooting

The campaign is not sending messages
Make sure you have connected an email sender or phone sender in your automated review campaign settings. Without one of these, Paige cannot send review requests.

The wrong CSV was uploaded
Click the X next to the file name to remove it, then upload the correct file.

I changed the daily amount, but nothing changed today
That is expected. Changes to the daily enrollment amount take effect the next day, not immediately.
