Calendar connection issues

In some cases, your previously connected calendar may become disconnected (e.g. after changing your Gmail or Outlook password or taking other sensitive actions on your account).

Depending on the cause of the disconnection, youโ€™ll receive either an automated email from Cronofy (our calendar integration partner) or an email from the Mercu support team. In both cases, itโ€™s critical that you follow the instructions in the email as soon as possible. Failing to do so may prevent candidates from being able to schedule interviews with you.

If Cronofy emails you

If you receive an email from Cronofy, it means Cronofy is unable to connect to your calendar provider (e.g. Google or Microsoft). The email will include a simple link that allows you to reconnect your calendar with Cronofy.

The email looks something like this ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ. Once you click "Relink calendar" and follow the steps successfully, your calendar will be reconnected with Cronofy.


If Mercu emails you

If you receive an email from Mercu (accounts@mercu.com), we're unable to connect with Cronofy and you need to disconnect and then reconnect your calendar within Mercu. This will re-establish the connection with Cronofy.

To disconnect and reconnect your calendar within Mercu, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into Mercu

  2. Click into the green circle with your initials in the top right corner

  3. Disconnect your calendar

  4. Reconnect your calendar

This will solve the issue and reconnect your calendar so that candidates can book interviews on your calendar again.
