Connecting your calendar to Mercu enables automated interview scheduling. Mercu checks your calendar for availability, shows open slots to candidates, and creates a calendar event when an interview is booked.
You can connect your calendar in two ways:
Globally via the green circle with your initials.
Within a job’s Schedule stage configuration.
You only need to connect your calendar once. Once connected, you can use it across any interview scheduling stage.
Global calendar connection
To connect your calendar via the global entry point, follow these steps:
Click on the green circle in the top right with your initials.
Click "Add availability."
Select your calendar provider from the list in the pop-up.
Complete the setup steps.
Schedule Stage calendar connection
To connect your calendar via a scheduling stage, follow these steps:
Open a job with a scheduling stage.
Click "Edit job"
Select the scheduling stage.
Click "Edit" interview settings.
In the Interviewer section, click "Connect Calendar"
Select your calendar provider from the list in the pop-up.
Complete the setup steps.
If you encounter an admin approval request when trying to connect your Office 365 calendar, please contact your IT team and ask them to install the Cronofy Enterprise 365 Connector via this link. Cronofy is the unified calendar API provider we use to connect your calendar to Mercu.
Relinking your calendar
In some cases, your connected calendar may become disconnected - for example, after changing your Gmail or Outlook password or making other sensitive account changes.
If this happens, you’ll receive an automated email from Cronofy (our calendar integration provider) prompting you to reconnect. Do not ignore or mark this email as spam. Follow the instructions provided, as failure to reconnect will prevent candidates from scheduling interviews with you.
