Overview

Tracking invoices is key for smooth operations and accurate records. Use this guide when you need to locate specific invoices for reporting, follow up with clients, or review billing history.

Understanding Invoice Statuses

Before you start, here's what each status means:

  • Draft: Invoice created but not yet sent to customer

  • Issued: Invoice is ready to be sent to customer

  • Cancelled: Invoice stopped, not sent or charged

Step 1: Click Invoices in the left menu bar

In the left menu, click Billing to expand the section, then click Invoices.

This will take you to the full list of invoices, including both drafted and issued ones.

Step 2: Select the invoice you want to view

From the list, click on any invoice row to open its detailed view.

Use the search bar to filter by payer name, boat, or invoice number.

You can also filter by status, customer type, amount range, etc.

Step 3: View invoice details

Once opened, you’ll see a complete summary of the invoice, including:

  • Invoice reference number and status

  • Sender and recipient details

  • Gross amount, VAT breakdown, and total

  • Payment status (e.g. To Be Paid)

  • Invoice type and issue status

This page shows the client, what was billed, and to whom.

Step 4: Manage the invoice (optional)

If needed, you’ll find additional actions in the top-right corner. These include:

  • Edit invoice

  • Access invoice settings

  • Issue or send the invoice

  • Cancel invoice

  • Export invoice

Use these options only if you need to make updates or complete the billing process.

This summary view gives you everything needed for client communication and record-keeping.
