Overview
Sometimes you may need to correct a custumer email, fix a value, or adjust how charges appear. In this guide, you’ll learn how to edit invoice content and modify its settings.
Step 1: Open the Billing Section
On your dashboard, click “Billing” in the left-hand menu to expand the section. Then select Invoices.
Step 2: Find and Select the Invoice
Browse or search the list, then click the invoice you want to update.
Step 3: Choose What You Want to Edit
Once inside the invoice, you have two ways to make changes.
Click the dropdown next to the PDF button:
Click Edit at the top to update general information, such as the recipient or charges.
and choose Invoice Settings to adjust invoice display options like tax rate or invoice type.
👀 This is how the panel looks when you click Edit (left) and when you click Invoice Settings (right).
Step 4: Save Your Changes
After making edits, scroll down and click Update or Save to apply the changes.
Tip: You can only do this while the invoice is in Draft status. After issuing, the invoice can no longer be edited
That’s it—your invoice details are now updated.
