Additional Options

When exporting Graphics, the following Additional Options are available:

  • Zip Exported Items – Check this box to create a compressed zip file named the same as the folder selected for the export files. The zip file contains the same files as the subfolders created in the folder designated for the export files and is located at the same level as the folder selected.

Once everything has been selected for export, and any desired additional options included, select Transfer. Note that with the Database Management Utility, multiple items from multiple categories can be exported at once.

Resolving Duplicates

When exporting Graphics, duplicate images are automatically skipped in transfer. There is no Resolve Duplicate Names window.

Folder Structure

The objects in the Graphics category are not stored in the database but are individual folders and files stored on the computer hard drive. Although they are not database objects, they are included in the database management utilities to facilitate data transfer between computers or Microvellum configurations.

A MicrovellumFactory.sdf database file is created. A Graphics subfolder is also created containing all of the AutoCAD drawing files that were exported.
