  • The Knape & Vogt (KV) 8810 Heavy Duty Slide has been added to the library catalogue.

  • A new global, "G! FE Scribe Visible", has been added, providing a "Draw Only" option for extended finished ends. When the global is unchecked, the finished end will continue to be sized by the scribe value for manufacturing, but the extension will no longer display in the 3D model or 2D section. Draw-only ROUTE tokens have been added to the Finished Faces, MV Profile Door, Solid Wood Door, Face Frame Left Applied End, and Face Frame Right Applied End subassemblies, and the 2D plan tokens within the Applied Panel and Applied Panel FF have been adjusted so the 2D matches the 3D model. Parameters 2, 3, 5, 8, and 9 of the ROUTE 5 token on the left and right ends have been updated accordingly. The global and its help image have been included in the Update file.

  • Layer control for dimensions on toe kicks and countertops has been added through four new globals:

    • "G! Elevation Dimension Layer Kick"

    • "G! Elevation Dimension Layer Countertop"

    • "G! Plan Dimension Layer Kick"

    • "G! Plan Dimension Layer Countertop"

  • The layer parameter (9) of the DRAWDIM tokens has been updated to reference these globals, falling back to "G!Elevation Dimension Layer" and "G!Plan Dimension Layer" when they are not in use. This allows these dimensions to be filtered when products are isolated in paper space.

  • Automated 2D plan and elevation end text has been added for Face Frame side conditions, giving Face Frame products consistent end annotations alongside the Finished and Applied end conditions. New globals have been added to the Face Frame / Face Frame 2D Settings category:

    • "G! Face Frame End Text" (defaulted to "FF")

    • "G! Face Frame End Text Layer"

    • "G! Face Frame End Text From Side"

    • "G! Face Frame End Text Rotation Left"

    • "G! Face Frame End Text Rotation Right"

    • "G! Face Frame End Text Alignment"

  • Corresponding prompts and drawing tokens have been added to the Face Frame Left Applied End and Face Frame Right Applied End subassemblies:

    • "Face Frame End Text"

    • "Face Frame End Text Layer"

    • "Face Frame End Text From Side Left"

    • "Face Frame End Text From Side Right"

    • "Face Frame End Text From Bottom"

    • "Face Frame End Text Rotation Left"

    • "Face Frame End Text Rotation Right"

    • "Face Frame End Text From Front"

  • Control over the 2D plan door opening angle has been added by product type, allowing the plan door swing to differ between base, tall, and upper cabinets without editing each door. Three new globals have been added:

    • "G! Door Opening Angle Base"

    • "G! Door Opening Angle Tall"

    • "G! Door Opening Angle Upper"

  • The "Door Opening Plan Angle" prompt has been updated within the Finished Faces, MV Profile Door, and Solid Wood Door subassemblies to reference these globals.

  • Cabinet modifications can now be represented in 2D plan and elevation views. Drawing tokens have been added to each modification subassembly to outline the selected modification, controlled by two new globals:

    • "G! Show Cabinet Modifications Elevation"

    • "G! Show Cabinet Modifications Plan"

  • Dedicated material pointers have been added for the Wood Dovetail Drawer Box subassembly, allowing standard and dovetail drawer boxes to be used within a single project without a second specification group. The new pointers include:

    • "M! Drawer Box Dovetail Bottom"

    • "M! Drawer Box Dovetail Front Back"

    • "M! Drawer Box Dovetail Sides"

    • "M! Drawer Box Dovetail Bottom Wide Span"

  • Commonly used drawer box materials have also been added:

    • 0.25 (6mm), 0.5 (12mm), 0.625 (16mm), and 0.75 (19mm) Baltic Birch Ply

    • 0.5 (12mm) and 0.625 (16mm) Hard Maple (Imperial).

    • 0.5 (12mm) Hardwood (Metric).

  • The new pointers default to Baltic Birch Ply and have been kept consistent with the existing Drawer Box Wood pointers, so current setups will not be disrupted. Prompt values within the subassembly are trapped with IFERROR. The new pointers have been added to all 5 CutParts files and to the .ctpx update file.

Modifications

  • The machine points on cabinet parts have been modified so renderings display correctly with 1-sided material. Affected parts include:

    • Adjustable and fixed shelves.

    • Adjustable and fixed shelf edges.

    • Doors.

    • The right side of the Diagonal Angle and Open Diagonal Angle products (Frameless and FF).

  • The Hinge BLUM 125deg Half Overlay Knock In has been removed from the hardware library, as it no longer appears in Blum E-Services or the latest Blum product range.

  • The XML project-import sample has been updated to align with Foundation Library product names. The previous Component Library XML samples are being removed from the knowledge base.

  • Default render material assignments have been revised for a more presentable out-of-box appearance. Finished and open part pointers now default to a grained material, and the PL1 Grain render material has been set to Milkwood in both Imperial and Metric (2-sided and 1-sided). The Kick Face render material has been set to 2-Side in the default cut part files and Liner_PL1 in the sided files. PL1 Solid remains Dark Grey.

  • The Hettich hinge mounting plate category and plates have been renamed from Intamat to Intermat to match Hettich nomenclature, and the DWG graphics have been corrected. This change is only available in a new install.

  • The following material pointers have been changed to White Melamine 0.75in 2S across all spec groups in the Cutparts Default, Cutparts Default Sided, and FDM Imperial/Metric files:

    • "M! Base Open Top"

    • "M! Base Open Stretcher"

    • "M! Base Stretcher"

  • The "M! Base Open Top Finished" pointer has also been changed to Liner PL1 in the Metric and Imperial sided cut parts files.

Resolutions

  • An issue within the 1-Door Frameless Base/Tall/Upper products that affected hinges and duplicated door parts when using "Right Swing" with a glass door, or "Pullout" as the component option, has been resolved. The Right Door subassembly has been updated accordingly.

  • Resolved an issue within base cabinets where the Finished End dimension did not respond to "G! Finished End Dimension From Side". New prompts, "Left/Right End Dimension Elv From Side" and "Left/Right End Dimension Plan From Side", have been added to the 2D Instruction and 2D Instruction Corner subassemblies for the drawing tokens to reference.

  • Resolved a grouping issue within the Point-to-Point nesting report. A Group Header on Parts. Filename has been added to the Parts Select P2P report so that parts sharing a name, but differing in file name and machining operations, are separated.

  • Resolved an issue with the LED strip light within the Under Panel Corner subassembly. The strip light location and drop light positions have been corrected.

  • An issue with the Inner Drawer with Faces calculator displaying an incorrect value has been resolved. The correct drawer front heights should now be displayed.

  • Resolved a divide-by-zero error within the Component Drawer and Component Drawer FF subassemblies that occurred when the drawer quantity was set to 1 with "G! Default Top Drawer Front Height Drawer Bank" enabled.

  • Resolved an issue that prevented hardware pricing from populating for the Finista Edge drawer kits. The inner drawer kit hardware has been renamed to match the other Finista systems (Inner Drawer Kit Low / High / Super High).

  • Resolved an issue with lock behavior on Sink with False Front / Top Facia products. When both "Add Top Facia" and "Add Lock" are enabled, the "Drawer Stretcher Facia" prompt is now available, providing a part to mount the strike plate to when using the "Lock To Top" global. This option is not available in a Horizontal Designer multi-bay scenario.

  • An issue affecting the 2D elevation placement of the right-most division, when "Face Frame Division Overlay Control" is set to "Double", has been resolved. The DRAWRECTANGLE token within the Division FF subassembly has been updated.

  • Resolved an issue within the Divisions with Fixed Shelves subassembly that caused construction hole machining to be removed from the wrong side of the division.

  • The Blum MERIVOBOX Slide 400mm Right graphic has been corrected in the Core Data and Update files.

  • Several issues have been resolved across the Nover Krome, Nover Krome Linea, and Nover Krome Premium drawer systems, including:

    • A gap between the drawer back and bottom when using backs thicker than 17mm.

    • Drawer back length and inset values within Nover Krome Linea not matching the Nover specification.

    • An incorrect length limit on the 35kg slide for Nover Krome Premium.

    • Gallery Rail and Inner Front molding graphics not scaling correctly for Imperial on Nover Krome Linea and Nover Krome Premium.

  • Resolved an issue where Quarter cabinets were missing sides. The "Valance Height Top" and "Valance Height Bottom" variables have been removed from the "Left/Right Side Full Height" prompt formulas.

  • Resolved an issue on 2-Door products where a secondary lock appeared off-product when "Add Top Facia" and "Add Lock" were enabled. The "Use Secondary Lock" prompt within the Finished Faces, MV Profile Door, and Solid Wood Door subassemblies has been updated.
