New Worker Sign-Up Cheat Sheet

Follow these steps to get set up quickly and ensure you never miss any alerts!

1. Scan the QR Code

  • Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code provided by the project team

  • The QR code will direct you to the MindForge app download page.

2. Download and Install

  • Download the MindForge app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

  • Install and open the app.

3. Create an Account

  • Open the app and follow the prompts to set up your account.

  • Enter your information as requested (First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone).

  • Verify your account via email or text when you receive the verification code.

4. Allow Notifications

  • When prompted, be sure to enable notifications so you don’t miss important updates or safety alerts.

5. Add Profile Picture

  • Click on your profile icon in the top left corner, then click on the pencil icon in the top right corner.

  • Select the image box to either take a photo or choose a picture for your profile photo

  • This helps site supervisors and coworkers recognize you.

6. Add Certifications

  • In your profile, select “Certifications”, then click "Add" in the top right corner.

  • Upload or enter details for your work certifications (e.g., OSHA, trade licenses, safety cards).

  • Now you always have a record of your certifications in your profile in MindForge. Be sure to keep your certifications in MindForge up to date!

7. Keep Sound On for Alerts

  • When you’re on site, ensure your phone’s sound is on and the volume is turned up so you can hear important safety alerts immediately.
