How to create a course from a YouTube video
Click the Create mini course button on the mini courses page or on a collection page.
On the next screen, click AI Course Builder to start course creation.
When the builder opens, click the + Add Source button.
In the source dialog, go to the YouTube tab, paste your video URL into the input, and click Add Video.
After that, you will see your YouTube video start processing. This can take some time because we capture screenshots from your video to use inside the course.
When processing is complete, we automatically fill the About section of the course using the video title.
⚠️ We suggest waiting until processing is complete before you generate course goals with AI. Once the YouTube video is fully processed, the AI can use the video content to create more accurate and relevant course goals.
ℹ️ If you add a YouTube video, we set the course image setting to Source instead of AI generated by default. Keep this setting on Source if you want to use screenshots from your video in your course.
