Stock Sync - Common issues and fixes

Inventory Tracking

Some stores will need inventory tracking enabled on a product level before inventory (Stock) changes can synchronise from Mintsoft:

Set up and configuration

If the wrong Warehouse is mapped or an invalid Location ID (Shopify) is set against the connection, this can cause the integration stock sync function to fail.

Insufficient Permissions on the Integration setup can also cause stock sync issues. Most integrations will offer a Read/Write permission to be selected

Products and Bundles

Please ensure Products from Integrations are matched with Products in Mintsoft, the same is applicable for Bundles as well.

Stock Only Syncs when it changes in Mintsoft

Our connection will only synchronise stock levels when they change in Mintsoft. So, if the stock levels haven't changed then stock levels won't synchronise to the store.

If they are new products, the problem could be that the products were added to the store after they were added to Mintsoft and so missed the first sync level we sent.

Manual Changes on Store: If stock levels are changed manually on the store directly then this would also stop stock levels from being the same until they are changed in Mintsoft again.

SKUs not matching

A common cause for products and stock not synchronising between Mintsoft and the 3rd Party Integration could be the SKUs not matching between systems. Please ensure the SKU matches exactly (Case Sensitive) and there are no trailing/ leading spaces in the SKU field.
