Mintsoft allows you to configure tax rates for different countries. The system adapts to your tax terminology - displaying either Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Service Tax (GST) based on your Customer Account Settings.
Understanding tax type settings
Your tax type preference is configured in Customer Account Settings. When you select either VAT or GST:
All system references update to match your chosen tax type.
CSV import and export columns rename automatically (from VAT to GST or vice versa).
Menu options and field labels adjust throughout Mintsoft.
Create a VAT/GST rate
Click Settings.
Click VAT/GST Rates.
This menu option displays as either 'VAT Rates' or 'GST Rates' based on your tax type setting.
Select the Country from the dropdown menu.
Enter the Rate percentage.
Click Create.
Remove a VAT/GST rate
To delete an existing rate, click Delete next to the entry you want to remove.
