Do you store my Connectors data on your servers?

We distinguish between “ordinary” Connectors (e.g., Gmail, Google Calendar) that don’t require storing data on our servers, and Knowledge Connectors (Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint) that do.

When you use a Connector in le Chat, we establish a temporary, secure connection between the provider’s service and our platform.

🔑 Data accessed through these Connectors is processed in real time to fulfill your request. It is not persistently stored on our servers once the interaction ends.

We retrieve only the information needed to answer your query or perform an action, and we do not keep a permanent copy beyond the conversation context.

Knowledge Connectors (Team & Enterprise plans)

Knowledge Connectors (e.g. Google Drive, Microsoft Sharepoint) rely on indexing your content (files and folders) on our platform, so le Chat can search and retrieve relevant information quickly and accurately.

All indexed data is stored securely in European data centers and synced regularly with your providers. If you delete data at the source, the change will be propagated as quickly as possible (typically within 10 minutes) to our index.

🔑 You remain in control of your data. As an Administrator, you can disable the Knowledge Connector for your organization at any time. Be careful! Doing so will delete all indexed data on our end.

Compliance

Our data handling practices, including the storage of data from Knowledge Connectors, are designed to be compliant with major data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
