Keeping our customer data secure is of utmost importance. When you use our service, you trust us with your data. We go to considerable lengths to ensure that all data are handled securely - keeping Scoutpanel secure is fundamental to the nature of our business.
This guide is to share some of the details of what we do to keep things secure, and some of the work that we're doing to continually improve the security of your data. We use analytics software with care and only for direct customer support (Intercom).
We only track very less user data for customer support
We want to make sure our users have the best Scoutpanel experience possible. We only collect a small amount of data and do minimal statistical analysis to understand user behavior, how people use our services, and to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve Scoutpanel.
At matchmetrics, we don't create any personal profiles of you based on your Scoutpanel interaction and never store your searches permanently. That's the reason why there is no player and team search history within Scoutpanel. So, we don't know what you have searched for.
All data (e.g. player profiles, notes, favorites) is stored in a private database on servers in Germany, on which only your team has access to. We do not pass on your stored data.
We don't use any analytics or tracking service but use a service for direct customer support (Intercom) which provides some basic information about a user' usage.
Your data
If your data is not secure, it is not private. That is why we make sure, that our Services are protected by the most advanced security infrastructures. Encryption keeps your data private while in transit. Our API and application endpoints are SSL only - meaning that we only use strong cipher suites and have features such as HTTS and Perfect Forward Secrecy fully enabled. We will only pass on to third parties the most relevant data for the fulfillment of the contract.
