Our Datawizard tool provides you with the means to design and visualise the data from your player or team comparisons. Then you can download the result in the preferred format on your device. This valuable addition to Scoutpanel comes in handy when you want to illustrate and share your insights.
The process is split into four steps:

button on the right hand side and the magic begins.
1. Comparison section
In this section you need to select the subjects of your analysis via the PLAYERS
or TEAMS
buttons. Choosing any of the two options will slightly change the layout of the section.
PLAYERS: In this layout you enter some basic information for the players you want to compare. You can also select to compare player or players vs the mean values of a chosen position between the leagues they competed.
The required input for players is:
Player
: Select player name.Position
: Select preferred position.Season
: Select which season you want to load data from.League
: Select one of the competitions the player took part in during the season.
The required input for mean is:
Position
: Select playing position you want to compare with.League
: Select competition you want to load data from.
PLAYERS LAYOUT
TEAMS: In this layout you enter some basic information for the teams you want to compare. You can also select to compare specific team/teams vs the mean values of the teams in a chosen league.
The required input for teams is:
TEAM
: Select the team of your choice.FORMATION
: Select the preferred formation.SEASON:
Select the season you want to load.LEAGUE
: Select one of the competitions the team took part in.
The required input for mean is:
LEAGUE
: Select the league you want to load mean teams values from.

2. Indicators section
In this section you set the indicators of your analysis. At the start you choose to compare EPI
(our Effective Player Indexes) or STANDARD STATS
(standard season statistics). On the left are listed the EPI/Standard stats indicators. All selected indicators will be displayed on under SELECTED INDICATORS
. The Datawizard also supports two languages you can choose from the dropdown menu, English and German.
CHOOSE EPI or STANDARD STATS: You can use the search box and type in the desired EPI/Standard stat or scroll down through the alphabetically ordered list. Clicking on the arrow icon next to an EPI/Standard stat will select it for comparison. You can select up to eight indicators.
SELECTED INDICATORS: All selected indicators will be displayed here. You can remove an indicator from the list by pressing the x icon
. Click on the star icon
to highlight indicators in the visualisations (highlighted stars will turn black as on the image below). Rearrange the indicators order by dragging the handle icon

3. Appearance section
In this section you customise the appearance of your visualisations. Four different visualisation charts are under your disposal: POLAR
, SPIDER
, COLUMNS
and BARS
. Mind that some need a limited number of players/teams or indicators to function.
POLAR CHART: This style visualises your analysis in a Polar chart. You can select up to eight indicators of your choice with this chart. The customisation options are:
Background color
: Select Dark mode or Light mode for your background.Color for
: Select the color for selected players, teams or mean value.Values
: Select to display "All values
", will show all selected values. "Only values for highlights
", will show only the highlighted indicators. Or choose to "Show no values
" to hide all values in the visualisations.
SPIDER CHART: This style visualises your analysis in a Spider chart (also called radar chart). You can select up to eight indicators of your choice with this chart. The customisation options are identical to the Polar:
Background color
: Select Dark mode or Light mode for your background.Color for
: Pick the color for selected players, teams or mean value.Values
: Pick to display "All values
": will show all selected values. "Only values for highlights
": will show only the highlighted indicators. Or choose to "Show no values
" to hide all values.
COLUMNS CHART: This style visualises your analysis into a column chart. The column heights are proportional to the values of the indicators that they represent. To use the columns chart you have to select no more than four indicators in section 2. The layout is identical to the previous two:

BARS CHART: This style visualises your analysis into a horizontal bar chart. The bar lengths are proportional to the values of the indicators that they represent. To use the bars chart you need to select no more than two players/teams in section 1. The layout of this style is slightly different:

: The indicator's colors cannot be customised in this visualisation style.Values

4. Download section
In this section you download the animated result. Our Datawizard supports video and image file format for download including a URL link.

: Download the animated visualisations in video file format.Image

: Copy the result as a web link.Landcape
: Select video or image file aspect in landscape (16:9) or square (1:1).
Proces Overview
Once you complete a section and click on next, the circle turns green and the next section opens. You can always go back and edit by selecting one of the previous sections. Or you can remove any of the selected parameters by clicking on the x icon next to them.
