Overview
Your Security settings help protect your MNTN account and control access to it.
From the Security page, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional login protection. You can also choose to deactivate your account, which permanently removes your account from MNTN and stops any active campaigns.
Because account deactivation permanently deletes your account and cannot be undone, it should only be used if you no longer plan to use MNTN.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code when you sign in.
MNTN supports two authentication methods:
Text Message — Receive a verification code by SMS when signing in
Authenticator App — Use an authenticator app to generate login codes
To learn how to set up two-factor authentication, see:
Deactivate Your Account
You can permanently deactivate your MNTN account from the Security settings page.
Deactivating your account will:
Remove your account information from MNTN
Stop any active campaigns
Permanently delete your account
⚠️ Warning: Account deactivation can't be undone. If you plan to use MNTN again in the future, consider keeping your account active instead of deactivating it.
To deactivate your account:
Click your brand name in the top-right corner of the platform.
Select Settings.
In the left navigation pane, click Security.
Click Deactivate.
The Deactivate account modal appears.
In the confirmation window, enter DEACTIVATE.
Click Deactivate account.
Your account will then be permanently removed from MNTN.
