Uploading your MNTN TV commercials is arguably one of the most exciting steps in campaign setup!
There are two places you can upload your TV commercials within your MNTN account:
Directly within your campaign shell on the Video Creative step
From the Creative tab, in the My TV Videos sub-tab.
Find instructions below on how to upload your TV commercials.
Uploading Your TV Commercial within Your Campaign Shell
💡 Note: To be successfully uploaded, your TV commercial must meet our TV commercial specs and requirements.
1️⃣ Navigate to the Creative step of your campaign shell.
2️⃣ If there is not another TV commercial uploaded to your campaign tab, you'll immediately land on the Upload Your Video page.
If you have previously attached another TV commercial to your campaign shell, you must select the blue + Add New button in the top-right corner.
3️⃣ Once on the Upload Your Video page, you'll have three options for upload:
Drag-n-Drop: You can simply drag your TV commercial file onto the page to upload.
Choose File: Navigate through your computer's files, then select your TV commercial's file for upload.
Dropbox: Upload your TV commercial file directly from your Dropbox account.
💡 Note: For CTV creatives larger than 200MB, we recommend using our Dropbox upload option for faster and more reliable processing. If you choose to upload files over 200MB directly, please allow a few extra minutes for the upload to complete.
4️⃣ Once uploaded, your TV commercial will be appended as a line item.
5️⃣ To attach the TV commercial to your campaign shell, select Attach to Campaign from the kebab menu.
6️⃣ You'll then be prompted to adjust your ad's naming convention and input your tracking parameters: visit URL, visit tracking, and, should it apply to your team, impression tracking.

7️⃣ Your creative will then undergo an approval process. A status will appear on the creative to let you know where the creative is in the said approval process. To better understand where the creatives are in the approval process, check out the below.
8️⃣ If running with several TV commercials, adjust the weighting of your TV ads to your liking.
Uploading Your TV Commercial in the Creative Tab
To upload your TV commercial to your Creative Library, complete the following:
1️⃣ Navigate to the Creative tab of your account.
2️⃣ Select the sub-tab My TV Videos.
3️⃣ Select the blue + Upload New button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
4️⃣ Once on the Upload Your Video page, you'll have three options for upload:
Drag-n-Drop: You can simply drag your TV commercial file onto the page to upload.
Choose File: Navigate through your computer's files, then select your TV commercial's file for upload.
Dropbox: Upload your TV commercial file directly from your Dropbox account.
5️⃣ Once uploaded, your TV commercial will append as a line item.
6️⃣ If you want to access previously uploaded TV commercials within a campaign shell, these ads will always be accessible from within your campaign shells.
Duplicating Your TV Commercial
Your ads can only be attached one time to each campaign shell. Should you want to use the same asset either a second time within a campaign shell or in another campaign shell, you can simply duplicate the TV commercial - just complete the below steps.
Duplicating Your TV Commercial within Your Campaign Shell
1️⃣ Navigate to the Video Creative step of your campaign shell where you'd like the new ad attached.
2️⃣ Select the blue + Add New button in the top-right corner of the page.
3️⃣ Once you land on the My TV Videos page, find the TV commercial you'd like to duplicate.
4️⃣ From that TV commercial's kebab menu, select + Attach to Campaign.
5️⃣ Once clicked, you'll be notified that your TV commercial will be duplicated. This pop-up will also prompt you to adjust the name of your TV creative.
6️⃣ Once the TV commercial is renamed to your liking, click the blue Save button in the bottom right corner of the pop-up.
7️⃣ You'll then be prompted to input your tracking parameters: visit URL, visit tracking, and should it apply to your team, impression tracking.
8️⃣ Your creative will then undergo an approvals process -- a status will appear on the creative to let you know where the creative is in said approval processes. To better understand where the creatives are in the approval process, check out the below.
9️⃣ If running with several TV commercials, adjust the weighting of your TV commercials to your liking.
Duplicating Your TV Commercial within the Creative Tab
1️⃣ Navigate to the Creative tab of your account.
2️⃣ Select the sub-tab My TV Videos.
3️⃣ Once here, find the TV commercial you'd like to duplicate.
4️⃣ From that TV commercial's kebab menu, select Duplicate.
5️⃣ A new line item dedicated to that TV commercial will appear.
6️⃣ Select the pencil button on that new TV commercial to adjust the naming convention to your liking.
7️⃣ The duplicated TV commercial is now living in your creative library.
💡 Note: In order to use the creative, you will need to attach it to a campaign shell. Complete steps 5-8 detailed above.
Deleting TV Commercials
From Campaign Shells
1️⃣ Navigate to the Video Creative step of your campaign shell.
2️⃣ Ensure the creative group you'd like to remove is weighted to 0%. Adjust your other creative group's weightings to a total of 100%.
3️⃣ Click the kebab menu on the creative group you want to delete.
4️⃣ Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
💡Note: If you run with MNTN Multi-Touch, this will delete the TV commercial and its linked Multi-Touch group from your campaign shell. If the TV commercial hadn't been linked to a Multi-Touch group, only the TV commercial would be removed from your campaign shell.
💡 Note: The removed creative will continue to be reflected in historical reporting, and any removed creative will still be available for future use in your My Creative library.
From Your Creative Library
Deleting a creative from your creative library will permanently remove it from your library. If you ever want to leverage that asset again, you must upload the TV commercial into your MNTN account.
1️⃣ Navigate to the Creative tab of your account.
2️⃣ Select the sub-tab My TV Videos.
3️⃣ Once here, find the TV commercial you'd like to delete.
4️⃣ From that TV commercial's kebab menu, select Delete.
5️⃣ You'll receive a pop-up notification that deleting this creative will permanently remove it from your library.
6️⃣ To continue, select the red Delete button on the pop-up.
7️⃣ That specific TV commercial has now been removed from your MNTN account.
Swapping Out Your TV Commercials
Refreshing your TV commercials is a best practice for all MNTN advertisers, as we find most viewers like to see fresh content. Follow the steps below to achieve this:
1️⃣ Navigate to the Video Creative step of your campaign shell.
2️⃣ Click the + Add New button in the top right corner of the Video Creative section.
3️⃣ From this screen, you can select a previously uploaded TV commercial by clicking the kebab menu and then Attach to Campaign. If you want to upload a new one, click Upload New in the top right corner.
If Uploading a new TV commercial, navigate to the Uploading your TV Commercials section for further instructions.
4️⃣ Once you have uploaded or attached your new TV commercial, locate the TV commercial you want to remove and set the weighting to 0%.
5️⃣ Then, click the kebab menu on the TV commercial you want to remove and select Delete.
6️⃣ Your campaign will now continue with your refreshed creative!
Understanding Your TV Commercial Status
To set your TV commercial live, your creative must undergo a review by our automated creative approval process.
Analyzing
Ads in the Analyzing stage require all Video and Multi-Touch creatives to undergo our automated creative approval process after upload.

Rejected
Our automated creative approval process reviews all creatives to ensure they comply with our Creative Content Guidelines before serving on networks and exchanges. If your creatives are rejected, please ensure they do not breach our Creative Content Guidelines.
Ready
Once your creatives have been approved and are in the Ready stage, you can set your ads live by assigning a weight to your creative group.
