You now can have the ability to apply consistent tracking to your campaign creatives.
Getting Started
When opening the Tracking Parameters section of your campaign creative, you can see the “Set up Account Defaults” button on the Visit URL tracking panel on the Creative Page.
💡 Note: You can also enter your default visit URL by directly accessing the creative tracking tab on the Account level itself.
By default, this will appear if the Default Visit Tracking has not been applied within the Creative Tracking tab in your Account settings. From here, you can set up a default Visit URL on the Account level in the creative tracking tab.
Scrolling into the Default Visit URL section in the Creative Tracking tab, you can submit and save a valid Visit URL in that field. Once the default Visit URL is added to the Account level, you will see that all new creatives created from that point on will use the same default URL.
💡 Note: Because this applies to new creatives, any creative made before, will not have the default Visit URL applied.
Going Forward
By default, any new creative made will have the default Visit URL toggled ON for you on the Visit URL tracking parameters. The Visit URL field will be locked if the toggle is ON.
Removing the Default Visit URL
If you wish to change individual default Visit URLs on the creative level, you can turn the Account Defaults toggle OFF. By toggling OFF, this allows you to enter your own customized default Visit URL.
If you are looking to stop the default Visit URL from applying to all future creatives, you must do so on the Creative Tracking tab in your Account settings.
Users can delete/change their default Visit URL added. Upon saving, all future creatives will not have that original Visit URL.
💡 Note: When removing or changing the Default Visit URL, you must manually add in your new Default Visit URL for past creatives.
